2. Applicable law
We process personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and, where it applies to visitors and clients in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 3. Visiting this website
This website is a static site delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery and security). When you open a page, your browser automatically transmits technical data that Cloudflare processes to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks:
- IP address (processed for security and abuse protection),
- date and time of the request, requested page, referring page,
- browser type and version, operating system, language settings.
Purpose: secure and reliable delivery of the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not combine this data with other data and do not use it to identify you. Cloudflare keeps security logs only for a short period in line with its own retention rules.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not create user profiles and we do not load fonts, videos or scripts from third-party servers.
4. Cookies and local storage
We do not set cookies for analytics, marketing or personalisation. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to detect malicious traffic; these do not require consent. Details are in our cookie notice.
5. Contact form and email
When you contact us through the form or by email, we process the data you provide:
- name and email address (required),
- company and phone number (optional),
- topic and message,
- time of the request and technical data needed to deliver it.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare an offer or a contract. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Form submissions are received by our website server at Cloudflare and sent to our mailbox through the email delivery service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) acting on our behalf. Resend stores the message only as long as needed for delivery and its logs. Our mailbox is hosted by Zoho Corporation B.V. in its European Union data centres.
Providing your data is voluntary; without a valid email address we cannot reply.
6. Clients and business partners
If you become our client or business partner, we process contact and contract data of you and your staff (for example name, role, business contact details, correspondence, invoices) to perform the engagement, for accounting and to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Information you share with us within a consulting engagement is treated as confidential.
7. Recipients and processors
We only share personal data where this is necessary for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website delivery and security,
- Zoho Corporation B.V. — email hosting (EU),
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) — delivery of contact form messages,
- tax advisers, auditors, banks and authorities where required by law.
We have concluded data processing agreements with our service providers where required. We do not sell personal data.
8. International transfers
As a company in the United Arab Emirates, we process data in the UAE. Some service providers are located in the United States or process data there. Where data of persons in the EU/EEA is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, where available, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification of the provider.
9. Retention
- Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact.
- Client and contract data: for the duration of the engagement and thereafter as long as statutory retention periods require (for example commercial and tax records).
- Server and security logs at Cloudflare: according to Cloudflare's short retention periods.
10. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to:
- obtain information about the data we hold about you (access),
- have inaccurate data corrected (rectification),
- have your data deleted (erasure) or its processing restricted,
- receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability),
- object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests,
- withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, write to info@al-naqeeb.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your residence or place of work, or with the UAE Data Office.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for this website and our email, restrict access to personal data to people who need it and protect our systems with up-to-date technical and organisational measures.
12. Automated decisions
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.
13. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website, our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
